These are the places I end up whether I'm walking the dog down Bernal Hill at sunset with the radio tuned to the Giants broadcast, or decanting something small-batch for a customer who just wants to talk baseball at the counter. Some of these you watch a ballgame in, some you just feel one happening nearby — kind of like how a good Zin needs air before it tells you anything. No ranking here, just the rotation.

Oracle Park24 Willie Mays Plaza, San Francisco, CA 94107Nothing like a splash hit landing in McCovey Cove while you're nursing a cup of something that should've been a glass of Pinot. Best seat in baseball, full stop.
Bernal Heights Park10 Bernal Heights Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94110My actual office. Dog off leash, transistor radio in my jacket pocket, Kruk and Kuip arguing about something in the fourth inning while the fog rolls over Twin Peaks.
Chase Center1 Warriors Way, San Francisco, CA 94158Warriors games move like a good blend — lots of parts working together fast. I bring a flask of something structured enough to survive the bus ride to Mission Bay.
Holy Grounds Coffee401 Cortland Ave, San Francisco, CA 94110Before I open the shop I catch the East Coast scores here. Good coffee, better gossip, and nobody minds if I talk about a Dry Creek Zin unprompted.
Wild Side West424 Cortland Ave, San Francisco, CA 94110Garden patio, a TV that may or may not have the game on, and a crowd that's forgiving if you bring your own bottle to share. Very Bernal.
The Ramp855 China Basin St, San Francisco, CA 94158Close enough to Oracle Park that you can hear the crowd roar between courses. Order something coastal, pour something crisp, let the ferries go by.
Public Works161 Erie St, San Francisco, CA 94103Not a sports bar exactly, but they'll put the game on upstairs if you ask nice, and the downstairs crowd never notices either way.
