Bookstores I actually go back to

Between pours at the shop and laps around Bernal Hill with the dog, I end up in a lot of these doorways. None of them are flashy, which is exactly the point \u2014 same reason I'll take a small-lot Zin from a guy with dirt still under his nails over something with a big score sticker on it. These are the stores that feel like a good single-vineyard bottle: a little rough at the edges, totally themselves, and worth the detour even if the Giants game is already three innings in on the radio.
