# TheLysts

> TheLysts is a platform where people and brands create, organise and share curated
> lists — called *lysts* — of restaurants, hotels, places, products, books, films,
> music and anything else worth recommending.

## Key definitions

- **Lyst**: an ordered, titled collection of items published by one member.
- **Item**: one entry on a lyst with a name, position, optional images, and column values.
- **Column**: a user-defined attribute applied to every item on a lyst.
- **Lyster**: a member who publishes lysts.
- **Review**: a rating from 1 to 5 with a short written note on a lyst or item.
