This is less a sports bucket list and more my physical therapy chart for the city — places I send my knees, my hip flexors, and my competitive streak on a regular basis. Some of these are where I actually move my body, some are where I sit and watch other people's bodies hold up (barely) under pressure. Either way, good form matters, recovery matters, and if you fall apart by the seventh inning stretch that's on you, not the stadium. Anyway, more tea.

Bernal Heights Park10 Bernal Heights BlvdSan FranciscoMy Sunday warm-up lap. Steep enough to call it cardio, flat enough on top to let your hips actually open up.
Oracle Park24 Willie Mays PlazaSan FranciscoGiants games are my excuse to sit still for three hours, which my own patients never let me do, so I savor it.
Chase Center1 Warriors WaySan FranciscoWatching Warriors footwork is basically a clinic in ankle mobility, I just don't tell my clients I'm taking notes.
Movement San Francisco924 Mason StSan FranciscoClimbing is the best unscripted shoulder rehab there is, and the Crissy Field view makes you forget you're working.
The Game Parlour1248 9th AveSan FranciscoGood form in Settlers of Catan is still form. I bring the same patience here I'd bring to a stretching routine.
Benchmark Climbing1414 Van Ness AveSan FranciscoSmaller crowd than the Presidio gym, great for working on grip strength without an audience judging your form.
