I edit other people's travel copy for a living (red pen poised, biscuit in hand) so naturally my own list is a scrappy pile of places I actually send friends to when they visit E17 — some are five minutes from my flat off Orford Road, some require a proper outing, all of them have earned their spot by surviving multiple weekend recommendations without me taking them off. This is less a bucket list than a well-thumbed index card.
