I'm not a musician, I can't carry a tune in a bucket with a lid on it, but I know a good room when I'm standing in one with a beer sweating in my hand. These are the places around San Francisco where I've ended up more nights than my knees would like to admit, usually after telling myself I'd just stop in for one. Anyway, where was I — here's the list, dog's waiting on the porch.
