Okay so between set painting calls and my Queensborough schedule (shoutout to the tech booth, my second home!!), these are the screens I keep running back to — strike that, running TO, not from, we don't run from theatres here!! Mostly repertory houses and cheap matinees because this is a STUDENT budget people, but every single one of these has given me a moment where I forgot I was in a chair and not backstage myself. Curtain's always up somewhere in this city!!

2IFC Center	323 Sixth Avenue	New York, NY 10014	indie, midnight movies, West Village buzz	Midnight screenings here feel like a proper opening night crowd — everyone's SO loud clapping, love it, no notes.
3Angelika Film Center	18 West Houston Street	New York, NY 10012	underground rumble, art house classic	You can feel the subway shake the whole house like a live cue gone wrong, it's basically a sound effect at this point, I'm obsessed.
4Metrograph	7 Ludlow Street	New York, NY 10002	sleek, film-geek glamour, LES	Pricier than my usual haunts but the print quality is so good it feels like someone finally focused the follow spot right.
