not a top ten, just where i've ended up with earplugs in and a tecate in hand. biased toward rooms with good sightlines because i am short and tired of looking at someone's shoulder blade. field service job means i'm sometimes still smelling of isopropyl alcohol when i walk in, anyway, here's the rotation.

2Great American Music Hall	859 O'Farrell St	San Francisco	ornate old dance hall, acoustically it's doing something the engineers never calculated for and yet it works. balcony seats if your knees are already shot.
3The Chapel	777 Valencia St	San Francisco	literally a former mortuary chapel, vaulted ceiling, great reverb, slightly morbid small talk opportunities at the bar.
