Okay so this started as a list of just two or three spots I'd drag my castmates to after a show (because nothing debriefs a disastrous dress rehearsal like a good glass of Beaujolais), and now it's basically my whole social calendar. I live a five minute walk from VinoRosso so that one's non negotiable, but I've also been slowly working my way across the city between physical therapy shifts and theater rehearsals, hunting down the tucked away, alley hidden, 'wait how did I not know this existed' kind of places. Fair warning: I will absolutely talk your ear off about the charcuterie board situation at every single one of these.

1VinoRosso629 Cortland Ave, San Francisco, CA 94110My neighborhood anchor, literally steps from my place. It's tiny, feels like a cellar, and the Italian list never lets me down (get a cheese board and just linger).
2Fat Cat & The Mantis3215 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94114This bright pink little wine bar makes me so happy walking in, and the pop up dinner from The Mantis on weekends is worth planning around.
320 Spot3565 20th St, San Francisco, CA 94110Old record shop turned wine bar, vinyl still on the walls, and they'll spin a whole album while you drink. Perfect for a long, unhurried Tuesday night.
4Bar Gemini2845 18th St, San Francisco, CA 94110Moody lighting, good pét-nat, and a cheese board that pairs shockingly well with whatever obscure Austrian wine they talk you into.
