Live music spots I keep coming back to

Okay so this started as a note on my phone after a show at Thalia Hall and it just... kept growing, not gonna lie. I'm in Pilsen so a lot of this leans southwest side but honestly I'll cross the whole city for the right room. These are the places where I've lost track of time mid-set, had a stranger explain the whole history of the venue to me between songs, you know how it goes. Anyway, bring cash for the smaller spots and thank me later.
