I spend most of my work week sitting with people on their hardest days, so weekends are for wandering into galleries with a coffee I didn't need and staring at something beautiful until my brain unclenches. This is the running list I text to friends who ask where to go on a First Friday. Newbury Street gets the postcard version of Boston art, but SoWa and the Fenway have my heart too. Note: MAAM's indoor galleries pause for summer transitions sometimes, so always check before you trek out there.
