Right, settle in, because this isn't a list, it's a sermon. Walthamstow does the best pub crawl in London and I will fight you about it in the beer garden of your choice. Orford Road's the spine of it but I've thrown in a few further afield for when the quiz is done and you need somewhere with a telly for the football. Pints poured, scores checked, verdicts final.

2Orford House Social Club	73 Orford Road, E17 9NJ	London	Proper old-school social club feel, cheap round, and nobody bats an eyelid if you turn up in your Sunday league kit still muddy from a 1-1 draw.
3The Nags Head	9 Orford Road, E17 9LP	London	Pink and green frontage like it's dressed for a different decade, resident cat judging your darts arm, and live jazz some nights if you fancy a change from my questions on 1966.
4The Village	31 Orford Road, E17 9NL	London	My Tuesday quiz manor, full stop. Beer garden's got heaters so there's no excuse in January, and the cask ale rotation keeps the regulars honest.
5The Goose	264 Hoe Street, E17 3AX	London	Right opposite the station, screens everywhere for the football, and handy for a pint before or after you've necked six on Orford Road already.
6Rolling Scones Bar	Unit 12, Ravenswood Industrial Estate, Shernhall Street, E17 9HQ	London	Drinking a can of Red Stripe surrounded by neon signs is not a normal Tuesday anywhere else in London, which is exactly why it's on here.
