the gigs that get me through deadline szn - proper venues, no notes, all bangers. some are tiny and sweaty, some have actual seats (luxury), but every single one has sent me home buzzing at least once. saving this before I forget the name of that place off camden street again

Name	Address	City	Why I love it
1The Workman's Club	10 Wellington Quay, Dublin 2	Dublin	three floors of chaos in the best way, always find a new band here i pretend i knew already
2Vicar Street	58-59 Thomas Street, Dublin 8	Dublin	table seating for the gigs where you actually want to sit down, very grand for a treat night
3Button Factory	Curved Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2	Dublin	sweaty, loud, right in temple bar so no excuse not to go even mid-week
4The Academy	57 Middle Abbey Street, Dublin 1	Dublin	solid mid-size room, seen some proper up-and-comers here before they got big and smug about it
53Olympia Theatre	72 Dame Street, Dublin 2	Dublin	gorgeous old theatre, splurge-worthy gigs only, the balcony views are unreal
6Sin\u00e9	15 Ormond Quay Upper, Dublin 7	Dublin	tiny bar, trad and folk sessions that just happen organically, feels like a secret even though everyone knows it
7The Sugar Club	8 Lower Leeson Street, Dublin 2	Dublin	velvet seats and jazz nights, very fancy for a student budget but worth it once a term
83Arena	North Wall Quay, Dublin 1	Dublin	the big leagues, save your pennies and go once a year for the arena experience
9Anseo	18 Camden Street Lower, Dublin 2	Dublin	the dj nights here are deadly, low key spot but the crowd always turns it into something special
