Museumsrundgang im Rahmen eines Ausflugs

This is the one where I splice my two brains together: the bloke who reads xG tables at half-time and the bloke who spends Sundays wandering museum halls in silence. Every entry on this list is a real ground, museum or pub I'd happily build a whole Saturday around — walk-up-to-kick-off timing, pint logistics, the lot. Think of it as a tactics board for your day out: possession-based sightseeing, basically. All addresses checked, all pints theoretically consumed.

1Emirates Stadium Tour & MuseumHornsey Road, London N7 7AJLondonStadium tour completistsThe self-guided audio tour is basically a tactical walkthrough of the club's own back four of trophies. Go pitch-side, it's smaller than TV makes it look (they all are).
2National Football MuseumUrbis Building, Cathedral Gardens, Todd Street, Manchester M4 3BGManchesterHistory nerds who love a statYes it's Manchester not London, but if you're doing a proper away day this is the non-negotiable stop. Over 140,000 items — more depth than most midfielders.
3Craven CottageStevenage Road, London SW6 6HHLondonOld-school ground atmosphereRiverside pint, cottage in the corner of the ground, absolute throwback. Like watching a low block from a team that plays lovely football anyway — contradictory and brilliant.
4Kia OvalKennington, London SE11 5SSLondonCricket-curious footy fansAnother code-crosser, sue me. There's something about a five-day format that makes 90 minutes feel positively frantic by comparison.
5London StadiumQueen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London E20 2STLondonOlympic history plus footballWeird hybrid of running track and football ground, a bit like watching a manager try to play three formations in one season. Doesn't always work, still worth the trip.
