When the bleep finally shuts up and I escape Whitechapel, I go stare at things on walls until my cortisol remembers how to behave. This is the rota I actually care about: places where the coffee is decent nearby, the art is distracting enough to stop me triaging strangers in my head, and there are corners to quietly fall apart if needed. Consider this my unofficial post‑call circuit – scrubbed, caffeinated, and marginally less unhinged by the exit.
