Not a grand research agenda so much as the paper equivalent of a slightly overstuffed bookshelf. These are the articles I actually go back to, the ones that sneak into project decks, book-club tangents and those late-night “I swear this connects to that one Black Mirror episode” monologues. They’re readable (mostly), they tell good stories with their data, and they remind me that the footnotes are often where the plot twists live.

1The Strength of Weak TiesThe Strength of Weak TiesMark S. Granovetter1973Sociology / Social NetworksOur most casual acquaintances quietly power job leads, information flow and social change.Reads like the sociology prequel to LinkedIn; every time I bump into someone on the tram and later end up collaborating with them, I think, "Granovetter called it."
