Meu mapa do dia do jogo

This is basically my sporting brain dumped onto a page – the places I end up when there’s a ball being kicked, thrown or bounced somewhere in the world. Some are big days out (82,000 in Croke, you feel it in your ribs), some are Tuesday nights with a dodgy stream and a perfect pint. If you’re the sort who knows your xG from your RTÉ highlights, you’ll be grand here.

1Croke ParkGAA stadiumJones Road, Dublin 3, D03 P6K7DublinAll-Ireland days and big GAA nightsWhen the Hill roars on 70 minutes, the decibel level feels like it’s adding a goal on its own. Bring your voice and maybe earplugs.
2Aviva StadiumRugby and football stadiumLansdowne Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, D04 K5F9DublinSix Nations and big Ireland soccer gamesBest view in the house is upper tier on the side – you see the whole chessboard when Sexton, or whoever’s next, pulls the strings.
3RDS ArenaRugby and events stadiumRDS, Merrion Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, D04 AK83DublinLeinster games and a pint-heavy Friday nightFeels like a big club ground more than a national stadium – close to the pitch, short walk to a chipper, and you’re home before Match of the Day.
