3L'Gueuleton	1 Fade Street, Dublin 2	Dublin	No bookings, so bring patience and an appetite for French country cooking. Worth the aul' queue.
4Chapter One	18-19 Parnell Square North, Dublin 1	Dublin	A Michelin star and a basement under the Writers Museum. I wear the good jumper for this one.
5The Pig's Ear	4 Nassau Street, Dublin 2	Dublin	Irish classics done with a bit of flair, and a grand view over Trinity if you get the window.
7Locks Restaurant	1 Windsor Terrace, Portobello, Dublin 8	Dublin	Canalside and civilised, which suits me fine after a stroll along the water.
8The Mulberry Garden	Mulberry Lane, Donnybrook, Dublin 4	Dublin	Tucked away off Morehampton Road, easy to miss and easy to love once you find it.
9The Exchequer	19 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2	Dublin	A gastropub that knows a Sunday roast is sacred. Good pint too, which never hurts.
