ok so I did not grow up watching sportsball — I grew up watching my mom yell at the TV during Mets games while I read Rilke or whatever — but somewhere between pouring natural wine at the bar and cramming for an art history final I became a person who Has Opinions about Brooklyn's sporting institutions. this is not a rankings list, it's more like — a tasting flight, if the wine was adrenaline. low tannin, high chaos. some of these are Serious Venues and some are just a field where I watched a friend's softball team lose spectacularly while eating a slice. anyway here's where I go when I need to yell about something that isn't a thesis.
