Coffee shops that pass muster

I run tickets all day and dungeons all night, so coffee isn't a vibe for me, it's uptime. This is my patch list of Chicago spots that don't crash under load. Ranked less by latte art, more by whether I can actually get a table and a plug before my laptop hits 10% during a lunchtime ticket queue. Deep dish discourse is a distraction. The real Chicago food fight is Italian beef, dip or no dip, and I will die on that hill before I die on pizza.
