Right, pull up a stool. This is the circuit I actually do — post-pitch pints, trad sessions I didn't plan on staying for, and the odd spot where you'll catch me roaring at a match I've no business being that invested in. Physio by day means I need somewhere to put my feet up by night, and this is where I land. Deadly spots, the lot of them.

Walsh's Stoneybatter6 StoneybatterDublinA proper pint and a chatBeen pulling pints here since 1826 apparently, class bit of history. Guinness is unreal and nobody bats an eye if you're still in your gear from training.
L Mulligan Grocer18 StoneybatterDublinGood food with your pintWhiskey list as long as my arm and the chips are savage. Bring the lads after a match, everyone's happy.
The Glimmer Man14 StoneybatterDublinRandom oul bric-a-brac and chatsWalking into this place is like wandering into someone's attic, class craic. Great for a quiet one before you head on.
The Belfry Stoneybatter37 StoneybatterDublinCosy armchairs, low key nightBig comfy chairs and dark corners, deadly for a proper catch up when you don't want the match blaring at you.
The Cobblestone77 North King StreetDublinTrad sessionsThis is the one I drag everyone to whether they like it or not. Free trad most nights and the musicians are the real deal, hairs on the arms stuff.
Hynes' Bar79 Prussia StreetDublinLow-key local pintNo frills, no notions, just a solid neighbourhood local. The kind of spot where the regulars know your order before you do.
Bonobo7 Smithfield SquareDublinCocktails and a change of sceneWhen I want something a small bit fancier than a plain pint, this is the spot. Lovely for a catch up with the five-a-side crew after a win.
Dice Bar79 Queen StreetDublinLate one with musicGritty and brilliant, great tunes and a proper late night out if the legs still have it after training.
