Okay so this is basically my entire personality outside of pharmacology flashcards (sorry pharmacology)! These are the SF bookstores I actually keep going back to between shifts and board game nights i rank them by vibe, by how long I can hide from reality in there, and by whether they'll let me sit on the floor. Inner Sunset Green Apple is basically my second home, don't @ me!!

1Green Apple Books on the Park	Inner Sunset	1231 9th Ave, San Francisco, CA 94122	San Francisco	My literal walking-distance happy place, I have definitely 'studied' here more than at the library okay but hear me out, the staff picks shelf is better than any algorithm!
2Green Apple Books	Inner Richmond	506 Clement St, San Francisco, CA 94118	San Francisco	The OG, the maze, the place where you go in for one book and emerge two hours later with four!! Still my gold standard tbh.
3Dog Eared Books	Mission	900 Valencia St, San Francisco, CA 94110	San Francisco	Great for zines and local-author stuff you won't find anywhere else, I always leave with something weird in the best way.
4City Lights Bookstore	North Beach	261 Columbus Ave, San Francisco, CA 94133	San Francisco	Obviously iconic, obviously a little touristy, but the poetry room upstairs still gives me chills every single time!
