Spots I've actually loaded a van outside of. Sound guys don't lie about venues — either the PA's sound or it isn't, either the green room exists or it's a broom cupboard with delusions. This is the gear, ranked by what it's like when you're the one plugging it in.

Northside gig circuit — 4 items
Name	Comment	Venue	Area	Address	City
1The Workman's Club	Cellar's tight but it's class for the right band. Stairs are a nightmare with a flight case though, fair warning.	The Workman's Club	Temple Bar	10 Wellington Quay, Dublin 2	Dublin
2The Grand Social	Big ballroom room, sounds massive when it's full. Tech crew there know their stuff, makes my night easier.	The Grand Social	Liffey Street	35 Lower Liffey Street, Dublin 1	Dublin
3Vicar Street	Proper professional rig, no notes. Every desk I've touched there was already dialed in sweet.	Vicar Street	The Liberties	58-59 Thomas Street, Dublin 8	Dublin
4The Button Factory	Picked up Venue of the Year lately and fair play, the room earns it. Low end hits hard.	The Button Factory	Temple Bar	Curved Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2	Dublin
