ngl being a line cook means I miss SO many sets but these are the ones I will absolutely call out sick for. half of this list is me manifesting, half is me already having the ticket in my Notes app. ranked by vibes not venue size, don't @ me

Shows Worth Skipping A Shift For — 5 items
Name	Venue	Neighborhood	Address	City	Genre	Why I'm Going
1The Mountain Goats at The Fillmore	The Fillmore	Japantown/Fillmore	1805 Geary Blvd	San Francisco, CA	Indie folk rock	they're doing a whole MULTI-NIGHT run here and I need at least one night, this is basically a director's cut situation
2Allison Russell at The Fillmore	The Fillmore	Japantown/Fillmore	1805 Geary Blvd	San Francisco, CA	Folk / soul	lowkey the most cinematic voice I've heard live, like if a24 made a concert film this would be the score
3Galactic at The Fillmore	The Fillmore	Japantown/Fillmore	1805 Geary Blvd	San Francisco, CA	Funk / jam	HALLOWEEN NIGHT FUNK SHOW. do i even need to explain the plot here
4Ceremony at The Fillmore	The Fillmore	Japantown/Fillmore	1805 Geary Blvd	San Francisco, CA	Punk / post-punk	my roommate described this lineup as 'chaos energy' and honestly that's the whole pitch
5Gene at The Fillmore	The Fillmore	Japantown/Fillmore	1805 Geary Blvd	San Francisco, CA	Britpop / indie	my film history professor name drops this scene constantly, feels like homework I actually want to do
