Gigs worth the bus fare

Right so this is just a running list of gigs I've actually been to or am proper buzzing to get to, mostly dragged mates along for moral support. Northern Quarter and the Oxford Road arches get most of the love because that's where I end up after work most Fridays. Still banging on about vinyl sounding better than whatever's coming out the venue speakers, nobody's listening. Every entry gets a verdict on the support act because honestly sometimes the opener's the best bit of the night and nobody ever gives them credit.

2Children of ZeusProper soul and hip hop vibes, exactly the sort of thing that sounds better on wax if you ask me. Dragging at least two mates to thisBand on the Wall25 Swan StreetManchester
3The SheepdogsClassic rock and roll lot, proper sound live apparently. Going in blind on the support but that's half the fun innitBand on the Wall25 Swan StreetManchester
