Okay so this is basically the map of my stomach lol — these are the spots I keep coming back to between gallery openings and bus rides down 18th street. Some are for the 6am sketchbook mornings, some are for when my paycheck finally clears and I treat myself, pero todas tienen corazón. Anyway lol here's the list — add your own, fight me in the comments, whatever.

15 Rabanitos Restaurante & Taqueria	1758 W 18th St	Chicago, IL	Portions are stupid generous — I've never finished a plate here and honestly I don't try anymore. Bring a friend or bring your appetite, no hay término medio lol
2Mariscos San Pedro	1227 W 18th St	Chicago, IL	Inside Thalia Hall so you basically get dinner and architecture in one trip — I go for the aguachile and stay for staring at the ceiling lol
3Pleasant House Pub	2119 S Halsted St	Chicago, IL	British pies in Pilsen sounds random pero it absolutely works — the steak and ale pie has gotten me through more than one bad open mic night lol anyway
4Anticonquista Café	952 W 18th St	Chicago, IL	Guatemalan-owned, gorgeous quetzal mural inside, and the horchata latte might be unbeatable — new favorite, no cap lol
5Nevería El Sabor de México	1639 W 18th St	Chicago, IL	Paletas de mango con chile after a long sketching day on the 18th street bus — that's the whole summer right there lol
6Bite Cafe	1039 N Western Ave	Chicago, IL	Okay this one's a little trek from Pilsen pero I always swing by after certain gallery hops up north — comfort food that hits different at 2am lol
