Right so these are the galleries I actually bob into on me days off, usually with a coffee in hand and crumbs from a Pot Kettle Black pastry still on me jumper! Mix of proper fancy ones and tiny hidden gems that mates always miss. Heads up esea contemporary's doing a bit of a refurb and reopens Feb 21st so hold tight on that one, but everything else is buzzing right now, go say hiya!

4Manchester Craft and Design Centre	17 Oak Street	Manchester	Buzzy old Victorian market feel, loads of little studios	Browsing handmade jewellery and ceramics	Can lose a whole afternoon wandering the studios here, lush café too
5Saan1	5 Kelvin Street	Manchester	Bright, cosy, independent little space	Catching proper varied pop-up shows	Tiny but mighty, always something new on, dead easy to pop into on a break
