Not a top-ten-of-all-time thing, just the movies that get the city right, especially the foggy west side I actually live in. Watched most of these after a cold morning session at Ocean Beach, dumplings from Irving still in the bag. No colonizing downtown-only takes here, this list respects the Sunset.

3Blue Jasmine	Blue Jasmine	2013	Marina, Ocean Beach	Cate Blanchett unraveling against the Marina fog. Shot some scenes right out by the water I surf.
4Mrs. Doubtfire	Mrs. Doubtfire	1993	Pacific Heights	Comfort food movie. Quote it at lab coworkers and nobody under thirty gets it anymore, which is a bummer.
