Coffee shops I actually rotate through, not the ones that show up on some TOP TEN listicle. Most of these are a short walk from Cortland or a hop on the 24 bus, because let's be real, nobody's taking the N-Judah out here for a latte. Ranked by whether I'd actually bring my laptop or just grab it and keep walking to the top of the hill.

2Wild Side West	Wild Side West	424 Cortland Ave	San Francisco	Okay technically it's a bar not a coffee spot but hear me out, they'll pour you one and the back garden is unbeatable at golden hour.
3Sightglass Coffee	Sightglass Coffee	270 7th St	San Francisco	Worth the trip downtown when I'm out of the neighborhood anyway. Industrial vibe, serious roasters, but it'll cost you.
4Four Barrel Coffee	Four Barrel Coffee	375 Valencia St	San Francisco	A quick bike ride down into the Mission. Loud, crowded, but the espresso holds up every time.
