Right, I'm a Walthamstow lad, I'll happily get on the Vic line for a decent bowl. This is the list I send mates when they ask where to go after darts or before a gig. No fluff, no Insta nonsense, just broth that's actually worth the queue. Bookmark it.

Taro WalthamstowOld pie and mash shop turned ramen joint, which is either genius or mad depending who you ask. Cheap, cheerful, properly tasty. Solid, would go back.Walthamstow High Street, LondonLondon
Kanada-Ya AngelThe chashu here is stupidly good, egg's always spot on. Queue moves quick though so don't panic. Solid, would go back.35 Upper Street, N1 0PNLondon
Bone Daddies SohoRock and roll soundtrack, proper punchy broth. Bit loud for a quiet pint after but great if you're pre-gig. Solid, would go back.31 Peter Street, W1F 0AFLondon
Shoryu Ramen SohoHakata style, does what it says on the tin. Reliable when you can't be bothered deciding. Solid, would go back.3 Denman Street, W1D 7HALondon
