Gigs worth the bus fare

Right, I'm no music snob but I know a good session when I hear one. Spent half me life at the boxing club and the other half up the back of a gig with me arms folded, judging. These are the spots in Dublin that are actually deadly — not the ones some influencer wan told ye about. Sure look, go for yourself and see.

2Vicar StreetVicar Street58-59 Thomas Street, Dublin 8DublinCabaret seats, class soundSit down for this one, treat yourself. Great for the acts who are past shouting over a crowd but still deadly live.
3The CobblestoneThe Cobblestone77 North King Street, Smithfield, Dublin 7, D07 TP22DublinTrad session, no stage, no fussNo cover charge, fellas just turn up with a fiddle and go for it. Proper Dublin, that. Deadly pints too.
