Owen Armstrong's return and the soap classics

Coronation Street is dragging Owen Armstrong back to Weatherfield after near enough eleven years away, and fair play, that's the kind of comeback worth a pint over. Ian Puleston-Davies is back filming as the old builder, due on screens come January, still raging at Gary Windass by all accounts. Gave me the excuse to round up the soaps and dramas I actually sit down for after a Saturday match, Corrie included. No frills here, just the shows that earn a spot on the couch in Stillorgan.
