Honestly between gig nights and running around sorting events at the hotel, coffee is basically how I function. This is the running list I send mates when they ask where to go for a proper flat white in town, it gets updated constantly and yes I do have a favourite seat at most of these, ten out of ten obsessed with this city's coffee scene.

3Takk	6 Tariff Street	Manchester	Single origin espresso	Roasted on site and you can taste it, this is where I take people who claim they 'don't really do coffee'.
4Siop Shop	39-41 Tib Street	Manchester	Flat white and a doughnut	Ten out of ten combo honestly, the doughnuts alone could get their own list from me.
5Federal Cafe & Bar	The Express Building, 9 Dale Street	Manchester	Flat white, long black for pals	Great for the big catch-up breakfasts after a heavy gig weekend, always buzzing in there.
6Nibble	46 Thomas Street	Manchester	Flat white	Small and lovely, the kind of spot I duck into between venue viewings when I need five minutes.
7Another Heart to Feed	46 Thomas Street	Manchester	Oat cappuccino	Veggie menu is unreal and the coffee holds its own, honestly a proper feel-good stop.
