ok so this is my rotating list of boston galleries i actually stop in on between coffee shifts and studio crits!! some are museum-tier blow-your-hair-back and some are a little side street with one guy painting boats — doesn't matter, if it makes me stop scrolling my phone it's on here. south end to back bay to the seaport, vibes have been verified in person. no skips!!

5LaMontagne Gallery	SoWa, South End	460 Harrison Avenue	Boston	edgy little contemporary space, no fluff	small but it never misses — in and out in 20 min feeling like i upgraded my whole personality

7Copley Society of Art	Back Bay	158 Newbury Street	Boston	old school, oil paintings, very proper	not my usual scene but you gotta respect the oldest nonprofit gallery in the country doing its thing since forever
8BCA Mills Gallery	South End	551 Tremont Street	Boston	experimental, weird in the best way, free	free admission and the shows are consistently unhinged in a good way — college budget approved
