Right, lads, this is the actual list — not some tourist nonsense. Between shifts behind the bar in Phibsboro and legging it to DCU, these are the spots that keep me fed, solvent, and sane before and after matches. Chips after a Bohs game, a feed before a gig, you know the drill. Fair play to all of them.

5Leo Burdock	Leo Burdock	2 Werburgh St	Dublin	An institution. Brought a mate from Cork here and he wouldn't shut up about it for a week.
6Phibsboro House	Phibsboro House	36 Phibsborough Rd	Dublin	Pints and pizza watching the match, five minutes from my own gaff. Can't ask for more.
7Zaytoon	Zaytoon	14-15 Parliament St	Dublin	Open til all hours which is exactly what you need after a late shift pulling pints.
8The Bald Eagle	The Bald Eagle	191 Phibsborough Rd	Dublin	Solid pints, solid grub, right in the thick of things near Dalymount. Can't beat it for match day.
9Bunsen	Bunsen	36 Wexford St	Dublin	Simple menu, serious burger. Get the cheese one, don't be asking questions, just get it.
