My office is a bench on Bernal Hill but even I close the laptop for these. Half this list is arenas with bad legroom, half is clubs where you can smell the PA overheating. I rank venues like I rank pickup runs: by whether I'd show up tired on a Tuesday. Bottom of the Hill makes the cut even though word is its clock is running out, so don't sleep on it.
