Pubs worth the walk

Not a ranking, just the places I'd actually bring you if you landed in off a flight wanting a decent pint and no nonsense. Half of these I've closed out after a late shift, the other half I've nursed a coffee in before a League of Ireland match down the road. No fruit in the Guinness, no big screens blaring nonsense unless Shamrock Rovers are on. That's the only rule.
