I'm an IT guy. I fix stuff for a living and I still can't change my own bike tire without swearing like Tony La Russa getting ejected. This is the bench of pros I call when I need something done right the first time, Logan Square edition. No benchwarmers, no scrubs, just the starting lineup.

Name	Comment	Service	Address	City	What they fix
1The Bike Lane	Walk in with a flat, walk out before the next commercial break. Reliable like the Bulls were in the 90s.	Bicycle repair	2130 N Western Ave	Chicago	Flats, tune-ups, fixed-gear builds
2Vern & Sonny's Bike and Snow	One shop, two seasons, zero excuses. Appointment only now, so plan ahead like it's a playoff schedule.	Bike and ski tune-ups	2800 N Milwaukee Ave	Chicago	Bikes, skis, snowboards, e-bikes
3Shake Shop Repair	My Wednesday nights running sound don't happen without these guys keeping amps alive. Local legends, zero attitude.	Guitar and amp repair	3247 W Fullerton Ave	Chicago	Guitars, amps, re-tubes
4Chicago Fret Works	Slower turnaround, like a Sox rebuild, but the work's worth the wait. Touring pros trust these guys for a reason.	Guitar and amp restoration	4229 N Lincoln Ave	Chicago	Fretwork, refinishing, amp mods
