Not a rankings doc (I don't do that to myself with this bullpen). Just the places I actually GO for sports in this city — stadiums, a weird little pavilion, a bar where the TVs outnumber the patrons. Some of it's about the Giants (always about the Giants, even when it hurts). Some of it's just good sweaty public space near my hikes. Add Kezar to your radar too — word is there's real movement to bring a new club in there, which, good, that stadium deserves more than echoes.

Oracle ParkHome turf. Bring a jacket (ALWAYS), watch the kayaks fish splash hits out of McCovey Cove. Bullpen will still make you yell.24 Willie Mays PlazaSan FranciscoBaseball
Chase CenterMission Bay glow-up, basically. Sound in there is UNREAL (occupational hazard, I notice these things). Go early, walk the plaza.1 Warriors WaySan FranciscoBasketball
Kezar StadiumTiny by comparison (10k seats, used to be 60k, wild) but the HISTORY here. City FC plays, locals jog the track at dawn.670 Kezar DriveSan FranciscoSoccer/track
Kezar PavilionOld-school gym energy, creaky floor and all. Pro-Am games here feel like a secret even though they're not.755 Stanyan StreetSan FranciscoBasketball
