These are the pizzas keeping me vaguely alive between Trinity anatomy labs and half-baked football training in Rathmines 😅 Not a ‘best of Dublin’ or anything mad like that — just the pies I actually order when my brain is mush and my bank balance is crying. All tried, all deadly in their own way. Grab a slice and pretend your exam schedule isn’t real for ten minutes 👍

1Manifesto Margherita D.O.C.	208 Rathmines Road Lower, Rathmines, Dublin 6, D06 K466	Dublin	Bit fancier and the prices remind you you’re not in the student bar anymore, but the Margherita is unreal. Bring a parent or someone with an actual salary and you’re grand.
4Pepperoni at Pizza & Pasta Tradizionale	37 Rathmines Road Upper, Rathmines, Dublin 6, D06 E0K1	Dublin	Classic pepperoni, no messing. Properly crisp edges and a base that survives the walk back to the house. Ideal ‘I just did a 9am–5pm in labs’ comfort feed.
6PI Spicy Salami	Unit 10, Castle House, 73–83 South Great George’s Street, Dublin 2	Dublin	Thin, chewy base, big blobs of mozzarella and a sneaky chilli kick. Feels like you’ve wandered into ‘proper adult’ Dublin but you’re still just a wreck in a Trinity hoodie.
8Forno 500 Napoletana	74 Dame Street, Dublin 2, D02 PY80	Dublin	Anchovies, capers, olives — all the salty bits that make you drink a litre of water after but totally worth it. Great spot if you’re heading to a gig near Temple Bar after.
9Cirillo’s Prosciutto e Funghi	140 Baggot Street Lower, Dublin 2, D02 HT73	Dublin	Ham, mushrooms, and serious main-character energy. Feels a bit date-night-ish, so maybe don’t rock up in your grass-stained boots from the pitch like I did once 🙃
