Halevy, Norvig and Pereira basically say more data beats a fancier algorithm. Same as racing — sometimes more laps on the dyno teaches you more than a redesign. Simple idea, huge implications.
This is the paper that birthed the transformer models everybody's obsessed with now. Reads dense as a manifold block, but once it clicks it's like finally understanding why a turbo spools the way it does.
