These are the spots I duck into when my brain’s fried from spreadsheets and subway delays, the places where I ‘just pop in for an hour’ and somehow look up and it’s dark out. Mix of big hitters and weirdos, art and fossils and old subway cars, all very “only in New York”, all tested by me plus whatever friends I’ve successfully dragged along (bribed with beer after, obviously).
