Okay bestie, let's talk about the shows that make Chicago the real star of the screen! As a museum kid who spends her weekends gallery hopping in Logan Square and arguing about the best deep-dish (Lou's or Pequod's, don't even get me started), I love clocking every skyline shot and 'L' train cameo. No cap, these nine series capture our city's grit, heart, and cheesy pride better than anyone else could!

Chicago, You're Famous! My Fave TV Series Set Right Here at Home — 7 items
Name	Comment	Network	Years On Air	Chicago Setting
1Chicago Fire	Firehouse 51 is basically my second home, no cap! Fun fact: the exterior firehouse used for filming is a real working CFD station.	NBC	2012–present	Firehouse 51, Near West Side
2Chicago P.D.	One Chicago's tough sibling! I love spotting real city locations mid-episode, kinda like a scavenger hunt for my museum-nerd brain.	NBC	2014–present	District 21, Chicago
3Chicago Med	Binge this before brunch and you'll never complain about a waiting room again! The set has serious behind-the-glass exhibit energy, ha!	NBC	2015–present	Gaffney Chicago Medical Center, Near West Side
4The Bear	Cousin, this show slaps harder than a deep-dish crust, no cap! Kitchen chaos meets River North grit and I am HERE for it.	FX on Hulu	2022–present	Italian beef sandwich shop, River North
5Shameless	The Gallagher clan put the South Side on the map for real! So gritty and heartfelt, it feels like walking through a living history diorama.	Showtime	2011–2021	South Side neighborhood, Canaryville area
6Boss	Kelsey Grammer running our City Hall drama? Yes please! Politics as twisty as a Cubs playoff run, and just as short-lived, sadly.	Starz	2011–2012	City Hall, Downtown Chicago
7Sirens	Paramedics, chaos, and comedy, be still my Chicago heart! Short-lived but so slept-on, kinda like that underrated wing at the Art Institute.	USA Network	2014–2015	Chicago paramedic units citywide
