Okay so — between proofing dough and waiting for pinball machines to free up, I read. A LOT. These are the shelves that have earned a permanent spot in my rotation, the ones where I've found a quiet corner to crack a paperback while something rises at home. Some are loud and bustling like a good bakery on a Saturday morning, some are hushed as a proofing box — but every single one gets a gold star from me!!
