Vibe

Brooklyn boyhood, music, race, friendship, a little magical weirdness

My take

Feels like somebody took all the half-remembered details of growing up in a changing neighborhood and made them weirdly epic. Slow in spots, but the last third hit like getting blindsided by an old song in a bodega.
