I'm out here squinting at spreadsheets all day and boxing out dudes twice my age twice a week, so by the time I'm thirsty I want beer that actually earns the walk (or the T ride). This is the rotation: the spots and pours that keep showing up on my scorecard, ranked by nothing but vibes and one very biased palate. Average PPG of these taprooms, if that were a stat: unreasonably high.

1Trillium Fort Point	Trillium Brewing Company - Fort Point	50 Thomson Pl	Boston, MA	The Fort Point DDH pours are the GOAT lineup here, no debate (I've tried, lost every time). Roof deck in summer is an automatic three-pointer.
2Harpoon Beer Hall	Harpoon IPA, Harpoon Brewery	306 Northern Ave	Boston, MA	Been brewing since '86, which in beer years is basically Bill Russell territory. Tour's cheap, pretzel's free, IPA's still the steady 15-and-5 guy of the lineup.
3Night Shift Everett Taproom	Night Shift Brewing	87 Santilli Hwy	Everett, MA	Hazy IPAs here hit different, like a stepback three in rhythm. Dog-friendly patio in warm months means my pickup-run recovery sessions have company.
4Dorchester Brewing Company	Dorchester Brewing Company	1250 Massachusetts Ave	Boston, MA	Underrated role player of Boston breweries, criminally low usage rate. Big industrial taproom, rotating collabs, never a bad trip.
