Maya Jama is everywhere at the minute – hosting Love Island, popping up in The Gentlemen, and even scheming away on The Traitors – so my brain has quietly turned into the Maya Extended Universe. This is my little cheat sheet of the people orbiting her right now, the ones who keep showing up when you fall down a late‑night recap rabbit hole. Think of it as a who’s‑who list for when you’re half‑watching an episode over dinner and wondering, “Wait, why do I know that face?”

Maya Jama circle — 3 items
Name	Connection to Maya Jama	Where you know them from	Vibe on screen	My take
1Maya Jama	The sun at the centre of this little solar system	Host of Love Island UK and spin‑offs; contestant on The Celebrity Traitors; appearing in Netflix’s The Gentlemen	That impossible mix of glam and genuinely daft mate from the group chat	She’s got that thing where you’d absolutely panic if you bumped into her in Tesco but also somehow feel like you’ve been sharing memes with her for years.
2Theo James	Co‑star with her on Netflix’s The Gentlemen	Eddie Horniman in The Gentlemen; also from various brooding‑man roles in films and TV	Reluctant posh trouble magnet with great coats	There’s something very satisfying about Maya stepping into Theo’s moody weed‑empire world – like someone dropped a Love Island host into a Guy Ritchie level on a video game just to see what happens.
3Claudia Winkleman	Host of The Traitors, overseeing Maya on the celebrity edition	The Traitors UK and its celebrity spin‑offs on BBC One	Gothic head girl of a very intense boarding school	Claudia and Maya together feel like two different headmistresses of chaos – one whispering, one cackling – and I would happily watch them interrogate people in a castle forever.
