This is the short list I mentally scroll through when a patient asks, "Where would you send your own family?" I work in Washington Heights, I ride the 1 and the A too much, and I have sat in more NYC waiting rooms than I care to admit. These are real places, real front desks, real elevators that are somehow always slow. Use it like a clinical note: focused, problem-oriented, with a little gallows humor for flavor.
