First year at UoM doing biomedical science and honestly some of these papers properly melted my brain in the best way. This is my mad for it list of the classic studies our lecturers keep banging on about, the ones that genuinely changed medicine, plus my two pence on why they're sound (or why they're a slog to get through). Reading these on the bus to Fallowfield so I don't look completely clueless in seminars, sorted.
