Vibe
Inua Ellams hosting ten poets riffing on D’Angelo’s Brown Sugar, with beats and bars all night.
Perfect for
That sweet spot where hip hop heads, poetry nerds and theatre kids all overlap.
My take
Not a tree in sight inside, but it’s pure ‘roots & resistance’ — stories about surviving and bending with the times, just like our new favourite wonky wych elm.
